Colors of Fall

Every year we see the same turning of the leaves and every year we are amazed at the colors. Just like the turning of the leaves, winter is also a yearly visitor which we are always very excited (or not ) to see. You would think after 50+ years on this planet, the changing of the season would be blase...but nope, I am like the rest of the crowd. I must have 100's of pictures of trees with orange leaves. Why??? Is the burnt orange leaf on the maple tree different from the burnt orange on the spruce tree? I guess it dosen't matter, what matters is I get to experience another changing of the season, another year older and hopefully wiser, although I think I'm as smart as I'll ever get..but who knows!! This year I got to see the leaves with the love of my life so I guess the burnt orange was maybe a bit brighter than usual and again I have the pictures to prove it....

Being a grandmother

Being a grandmother is one of the most beautiful events of my life. Loving them and having them love me back requires nothing more then them sharing my space and owning a piece of my heart. They ask for nothing but give so much in return. Watching their face light up when they see me and that unforgettable hug they give me each and everytime we see each other. I hope we will continue on this wonderful journey that we've been blessed  with and I will remain an important part of their lives...Thank God for grandkids...and grandparents who adore them...
